My two added links

The two links I chose where Betty's Blog and the Geometry Method blog. These two links are both educational links.
Betty's Blog gives you many resources like lesson plans, sites that she finds educational and also many topics that relate to teaching. There are articles that this person posts that could be resourceful  for new teachers. I like this page because this person cares about sharing her thoughts. There are many diffrent topics to read.
The Geometry Method was the other blog I chose because it gives many tips and tricks that could help you out in your classroom. There are memory tips for math that can help the students remember the processes and concepts. There are also lables for art topics, Social Studies, Guided Reading, Science, Poetry and also Writing topics. This blog also gives classroom managment articles.
Since starting blogging  I have learned how useful it can be. After reading both these blogs I have a good feeling about how helpful blogs can be. They provide readers with diffrent techniques and view points on certain subjects.

Are blogs a good thing or a bad thing?

In my opinion I think blogs will become a good thing in the future. It is a way that you can voice your opinion even though you are not in the classroom. I think that this would allow those students that are to shy to speak in front of their class to voice their opinion. This could be a confortable way of communication for them. I think that you could stay in touch with people and that you would be able to have feed back on anything you wanted. Blogs can be useful tools in the classroom because they could not only provide a comfortable environment for everyone but they could also prove to editing tool. For example for a poetry unit students could post their poems and their classmates could leave comments about it and that could help furture the students writing. On that note you would have to make sure that what other classmates are posting to the blogs would be appropriate. So if the teacher was not actively checking their students blogs this tool could be used the wrong way. Give the students guide lines about what is expected before letting them blog.
All in all I think that in the future blogs will be a great classroom tool for students educational development.
